My pastor advised me to apply for Bible college. Towards the end of my third year at college, I joined a program called &#8216;the Radical Project&#8217; run by Miss\u00e3o Horizontes (World Horizons). During this time, I met Eliane, and we decided to get married before leaving Brazil.<\/p>\n<p><span class=%22OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none%22>We spent the first two years in West Africa working with the Tuareg nomads of the Sahara Desert. In Brazil, there are many under-served \u2018minority groups\u2019. We are working with riverside residents of the Amazon Basin Region (Povos Ribeirinhos), especially the &#8216;Riverside Children&#8217;. We provide assistance and support to communities that can only be reached by boat.<\/p>\n<p><span class=%22OYPEnA font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none%22>We are also training Christians workers and motivating the local church in mission outreach.
