United Kingdom

We desire to see new fellowships emerge in communites where currently there are none

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to hear the good news of Jesus Christ — whether face‑to‑face or through digital platforms. We are committed to living out our faith among our neighbours and inviting people to love and follow Jesus.

Our UK teams provide a local context in which to serve our communities, share our faith, and experience personal support and accountability.

A couple who are World Horizons members, first served in the Middle East and Spain are now based in Luton.

We chose Luton as it is a multicultural town, a hive of nationalities and beliefs. Here we enjoy the freedom of sharing the Gospel openly, in the streets, as well as with friends and colleagues. The Lord has brought several waves of refugees to swell the local community. We have had the privilege of seeing Iranians – many landed at our doorstep, Arabs, and others coming to the Lord.

Who do we serve in United Kingdom?

With global migration increasing, the UK is welcoming more refugees, international students, migrants, and skilled workers than ever before. Across the country, our members are finding fresh opportunities to welcome, support, and journey alongside those arriving from other nations.

We long to join God in His mission “to make all things new,” seeking transformation in the places where we live and serve, and longing to see new Christian fellowships emerge where none currently exist.

Maybe you could join us and become part of writing the next chapter of our story.

How do we serve?

Our cross‑cultural experience and expertise enable us to relate well to people arriving in the UK from other cultures and to support them as they adapt to life here. In practice, this means loving and listening, spending time together, and offering genuine friendship—while also receiving and celebrating the incredible gifts they bring into our lives.

What is our vision for United Kingdom?

In line with our international vision, our future ministry will focus on the wellbeing and strengthening of those already playing their part, welcoming others into the journey, and pursuing the transformation of every sphere of society around us as we join with God’s mission to ‘make all things new’.

What skills are needed?

We have many visionaries and praying people, but far fewer implementers and those gifted in administration. There is plenty of room for people who can help with practical and strategic roles—whether serving as a chief operating officer, processing visas, arranging short‑term placements and trips, providing safeguarding expertise, or strengthening our digital communications. These practical gifts are vital to our mission and deeply valued within the wider team. Head to our UK website to find out more.
