Not long after I became a Christian, I felt called to explore a call to Christian mission. My pastor advised me to apply for Bible college. Towards the end of my third year at college, I joined a program called ‘the Radical Project’ run by Missão Horizontes (World Horizons). During this time, I met Eliane, and we decided to get married before leaving Brazil.

We spent the first two years in West Africa working with the Tuareg nomads of the Sahara Desert. Then we returned to Brazil where we had our children.

In 2010 we returned to Africa to work with a project supporting native evangelists in preaching and planting churches in the Sahel region.

In 2012 we moved up to North Africa to support the local church, where we helped disciple young people for many years.

Shortly after the pandemic, we moved back to Brazil to form a team in the city of Santarém, which is in in Pará State in the North of the country. In Brazil, there are many under-served ‘minority groups’. We are working with riverside residents of the Amazon Basin Region (Povos Ribeirinhos), especially the ‘Riverside Children’. We provide assistance and support to communities that can only be reached by boat.

We are also training Christians workers and motivating the local church in mission outreach. We are extremely thankful that we have seen the hand of the Lord guiding us in so many ways over the years.
